Hyundai Tower, Seoul
An eco-tower and green bridge over an 8 lane motorway as part of proposals to create corridors of green spaces within the city. The mixed use main tower includes offices, hotel, residential and has a parallel tower of vertical gardens attached to it. The gardens are accessed at each level and have their own vertical and horizontal circulation networks.
The attached lightweight column garden enclosure incorporated a number of Environmental features including sprayed water droplets, creating a down draft which aids in cooling the building.
